Tony St. James is the host of one of the most comprehensive agriculture programs on radio. He covers cotton, cattle, water conservation and other areas of modern agriculture each weekday on his show Agriculture Today, a fast-paced look at agribusiness news, markets and weather.

 

Tony is currently in the process of serving as President-Elect, President and Past-President for the National Association of Farm Broadcasters. He travels to all of the major agriculture and cotton trade shows throughout the year.

 

Jeff Duncan: Weekday Mornings, 7-10 a.m.

This is Jeff's second go-around with KVRP. He was here for a couple years covering sports and some behind the scenes duties prior to his recent return. After being offered a full time position as Program Director and Sports Director he jumped at the chance to come back to the Big Country. 

 

He has hosted morning shows in Oregon, Idaho and Colorado and held Sports Director duties for radio stations in Oregon, Idaho, Colorado and now, Texas. Audra Casino: Weekdays, 3-7 p.m.

Audra is a dynamic on-air personality who has been a full-time professional in the radio industry since 1997. Her career has included roles both on-air and in the production studio. She is a well-respected voice artist who is a self-described audio production fanatic. She is excited to be back in the Big Country with her husband Dave, son Evan and head-of-household Miss Kitty. Audra enjoys cooking, great movies, reading and writing. A familiar voice in the area, she was welcomed back to the airwaves of Big Country 97 during September of 2016.

 

The Lia Show, Weekday Evenings, 7-midnight

Originally from Kentucky, her show is now based out of Seattle. In 2008, Lia won top honors at the Country Music Awards for Personality of the Year and Entertainer of the Year at the Gracies.

 

Cowboy Corner with Red Steagall, Saturday mornings, 7-8 a.m.

For the past 40 years, Red Steagall has entertained around the globe as a recording artist, songwriter, television and motion picture personality. In 1991, the Texas State Legislature selected Mr. Steagall as the "Official Cowboy Poet of Texas." The Texas Commission on the Arts named Red the Poet Laureate for the State of Texas for the year 2006. His legendary Texas Swing dance music has made him a favorite among cowboys. And critics across America have referred to Cowboy Corner as "masterful." Red's love for our great western heritage and the cowboy way have made Cowboy Corner a truly authentic western celebration.

Power Source Country with Rich Miller, Sunday nights, 8-10 p.m.

Power Source Country is a weekly two-hour radio program produced in Nashville, TN. The show is going into its eighth year and can be heard coast-to-coast. The overall purpose of the show is to provide listeners with two hours of family friendly, positive, uplifting music and entertainment. There are also artist interviews, major label supported promotional contests, classic tracks with The Musical Time Jump and more! The program is written and hosted by award winning radio personality Rich Miller.
